PRIESTLEYS CLIMBS UP LEGAL 500 REAL ESTATE RANKINGS
Priestleys is delighted to announce that the performance of its Cayman Islands Real Estate practice has been recognised with a move up the rankings in the prestigious Legal 500 Caribbean Edition 2021.
Priestleys esteemed real estate team has moved up to become a Tier 3 firm. Priestleys’ managing director Daniel Priestley has also once again been recognised as a ‘leading individual’ in the Cayman Islands for Real Estate appearing alongside the practice heads of some of the Cayman Islands largest law firms.
Legal 500 notes that the Priestleys team ‘advises on the full range of mandates from large-scale developments and commercial property management work to conveyancing matters. Key areas of strength for the department, which is presided over by founding partner Daniel Priestley include infrastructure projects, construction, development and redevelopment work, purchases and sales of residential property, as well as secured lending work.’
Priestleys associates Laura Birrell and Nick Hemus were also named as the ‘main practitioners of note’ at associate level. Hemus is a recent addition to the Priestleys real estate practice having joined from Devonshires Solicitors LLP in London in January 2021.
