EXPERIENCED LITIGATION LAWYER, NIKUE ASSAPOUR, HAS JOINED CAYMAN ISLANDS LAW FIRM PRIESTLEYS AS AN ASSOCIATE

Nikue was first admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in Northern Ireland in 2013 and joined boutique general practice firm Kenneth McKee Solicitors in 2015. Here she gained extensive experience in general common law litigation, including managing a varied caseload of civil disputes, as well as public and private law proceedings.

Nikue’s family law practice encompassed both divorce and ancillary relief proceedings as well as children order cases focusing on private family law applications for applicants and respondents, including contact, residence, and specific issue orders.

Guy Dilliway-Parry, partner and head of litigation at Priestleys, commented: “Nikue prides herself on removing the stress of litigation for her clients and communicating with them in clear, open language. She is highly valued by past clients and legal peers for her pragmatic approach, and for always keeping the end goal in mind. We are delighted to welcome her to our team where we know she will be a great fit.”

Nikue Assarpour commented: “My new role at Priestleys offers me the opportunity to expand on the commercial and civil litigation experience I gained in Ireland, and I look forward to working with a much broader range of international clients. Relocating to the Cayman Islands is a once in a lifetime opportunity and I’m delighted to be here and to be part of the Priestleys team.”

At Priestleys, Nikue’s work will include a wide variety of common law, commercial disputes, contract disputes, family law, personal injury litigation and contested probate matters.
