Chris advises clients on all aspects of Cayman company law (including registration, economic substance, and the Special Economic Zone), investment funds (structuring/formation, and private/mutual fund regulation), securities regulation (SIBA), Virtual Asset Service Providers regime (VASP), banking and finance and private client law. An entrepreneur at heart, Chris understands business dynamics and seeks to provide clients with pragmatic and well-rounded advice on the issues facing them.

Chris attended Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario for both his undergraduate and legal studies and was called to the Ontario bar in 2020. Prior to joining Priestleys, Chris maintained a very broad and expansive business law and wealth management practice while working in the Toronto, Canada office of one of the largest and most renowned international law firms in the world. Chris has experience in advising public companies, private companies as well as HNW and UHNW individuals on diverse range of matters.
